Interactive Tick-Borne Illness Map

Discover Magazine has setup an interactive map to locate where individuals have contracted tick-borne illnesses. It will attempt to find your location automatically, or enter your location in the search bar above the map.​

Note: this is for locating approximately where you were bitten by the tick, NOT where you were/are living at the time. 

Once the general area is on the map click the approximate location (give your best guess) and then in 100 words (or less) describe your diagnosis, symptoms, and what kind of tick it was if possible. You can use your full name, or just your initials, as well as your current city and state.

They may publish your story online or in their magazine (after editing) as they say on the right side of the map. It also may take some time (give them a few days to process it) before your submission will show up.
